The Army requires all soldiers to attend Accident Avoidance Course (AAC) formerly known as the Defensive Driving Course (DDC), every 4 years. Civilians and Army Contractors are also required to successfully
complete AAC to drive a Government-Owned Vehicle (GOV).
The course consists of 10 timed modules for a total of 4 hours. You must spend a minimum of 4 hours on the course material. There is no maximum time limit.
Log on and off the course as many times as you wish. The computer tracks your time to the nearest
minute interval you have completed. The course, with its unique time tracking system, remembers the time already spent on the chapter when you logged off the course. When you're ready they simply log back into the course, go to the chapter where they left off and continue reading.
The Final Exam portion of the course consists of 35 multiple choice or true and false questions. You must answer 28 questions correctly (80%) to pass the course and receive a certificate of completion.
The course is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. |
